Khao Takiab or “Mount Chopstick” is a large promontory jutting into the sea about 6 Km south of Hua Hin. At the summit, a quiet and cool site, there is a temple and a statue of the goddess Kwan Inm. There is also an excellent vantage point, allowing one to appreciate the magnificent vistas of Hua Hin Bay. Good accommodation and restaurants are readily available in the immediate area.
